WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer’s office, in conjunction with the offices of Senator Ben Sasse and Congressman Jeff Fortenberry, will host a "U.S Military Day" for high school and college students on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Lincoln East High School.

The "U.S. Military Day" is an opportunity for students and their parents to learn more about military opportunities, particularly the nomination process for service academies. Information regarding the National Guard, Reserve, Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC), and other military enlistment options will also be presented.

Representatives from the Army, Air Force, Navy, Merchant Marine, and Coast Guard will be on hand from 9:15 a.m. to 12:00 noon to answer questions and provide information. A program presentation featuring service academy and military representatives will begin at 10:00 a.m.
