WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) released the following statement today after learning President George Herbert Walker Bush passed away:
“Bruce and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of President George H.W. Bush. A member of the Greatest Generation, President Bush humbly served the country he loved. George H.W Bush was a patriot, a leader, and a decent man who had a noble spirit. Our prayers are with his family.”
