WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) today welcomed President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of intent to nominate Scott E. Kracl to serve as U.S. Marshal for the District of Nebraska. Senator Fischer recommended Kracl to the administration and released the following statement:

“Scott Kracl’s experience and dedication to public safety will serve Nebraska well. His 30 years of service on the Nebraska State Patrol was the reason I recommended Scott to the president. I hope Scott is quickly confirmed so he can put his impressive background and leadership skills to work for Nebraskans as our U.S. Marshal.”

Scott Kracl began his law enforcement career with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) in 1987. He held a number of positions, including: Trooper, Investigator, Sergeant, and Commander of Investigative Services, a role he held from 2007-2016. Additionally, Kracl served as the Commander of Executive Protection and Capitol Security from 2016 until he retired in 2017, after 29 years of dedicated service to the NSP.
