LINCOLN, NEB. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), a member of the Senate Commerce Committee, today convened Nebraska State Senators and Public Service Commissioners at a meeting with Brendan Carr, Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
“I was proud to convene today’s meeting between Commissioner Carr and Nebraska’s telecommunications leaders to discuss key connectivity issues impacting our state’s communities. We spoke about the challenges of ensuring broadband across the state so that Nebraskans can work, learn, and have the freedoms that technology affords no matter where they live. I look forward to continue working to deliver smart telecommunications solutions for all Nebraskans,” said Senator Fischer.
