WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer’s office, in conjunction with the offices of Senator Ben Sasse and Congressman Adrian Smith, will host a "Service Academy Open House" for high school and college students on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Grand Island.

The event is an opportunity for students and their parents to learn more about military opportunities, particularly the nomination process for service academies. Information regarding the National Guard, Reserve, Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC), and other military enlistment options will also be presented.

Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and Army ROTC will be on hand to answer questions and provide information.
