WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), a member of the Senate Commerce Committee and the top Republican on the Surface Transportation, Maritime, Freight, and Ports Subcommittee, joined Dana Perino on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom today to discuss the $2.7 trillion spending package proposed by President Biden.

Senator Fischer is a leading legislator on infrastructure. She helped craft the 2015 FAST Act, led on bipartisan pipeline safety legislation signed into law, worked on the 2018 FAA reauthorization, and has backed numerous pieces of legislation to expand broadband connectivity. She chaired the Senate Commerce Subcommittee on Surface Transportation from 2015-2021 and now serves as the subcommittee’s top Republican.
