WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) today discussed how record inflation, including soaring costs for gas, meat, eggs, milk, and other groceries is hurting Nebraska families. Consumer prices are up 7.3% in the Midwest economic region that encompasses Nebraska, which is a full percentage point higher than the national average.
Sen. Fischer also discussed how amidst rising inflation and crippling supply chain issues, the Biden administration has yet to put forward serious solutions that “help everyday Americans in trying to meet the needs of their families.”
