WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer, a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, issued the following statement today after the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced St. Paul, Nebraska, will receive a $300,000 Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant to expand the clinic at the Howard County Medical Center:

“I am excited to announce today the USDA is awarding a rural development grant to St. Paul, Nebraska. This investment will assist with the expansion of the clinic at the Howard County Medical Center. When the project is finished, the clinic will have several new exam rooms and a procedure room to better meet the health care needs of local area residents.”
