U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) released the following statement today on the passing of Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.):
“Fierce in his convictions, Senator Inhofe was also kind-spirited. He was a strong advocate for our national defense, the members of our military, and the people of Oklahoma. I’m grateful for my years of working with Jim, particularly on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and I will dearly miss his friendship. Bruce and I extend our sympathy to Jim’s wife, Kay, and the rest of their family.”
