WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) released the following statement today after Chief Judge Laurie Smith Camp announced she will take senior status on the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska effective December 1, 2018:

Senators Fischer and Sasse will soon announce the application process for Nebraskans interested in filling Chief Judge Smith Camp’s vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska.
