WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last night, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) welcomed 162 Hall County Vietnam veterans to Washington, D.C. During a tour of the U.S. Capitol building, Fischer was able to visit with the veterans in Statuary Hall.
“It was my honor to welcome these Nebraska Vietnam Veterans to the U.S. Capitol. As always, it’s a humbling experience to hear their stories and express my deep gratitude to them in person for their service to our country. These veterans represent the best of Nebraska and our nation and I’m so happy they were able to participate in this wonderful trip to Washington.”
