LINCOLN, NEB. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) today released a new video highlighting the unveiling of Chief Standing Bear’s statue in National Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol. Senator Fischer participated in the statue dedication ceremony that took place on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Chief Standing Bear’s statue replaces that of William Jennings Bryan, which stood in the U.S. Capitol since 1937.
