Academy Nominations
Each year, Senator Fischer nominates an outstanding group of young men and women from Nebraska to attend U.S. service academies. Senator Fischer’s team takes great pride in assisting the next generation of military leaders in their application processes. Nomination applications for the Class of 2031 are open now and due October 7, 2026. Please click here to begin.
The application process for each academy is independent of applying for a nomination through the senator’s office. Due to the large volume of applications to each service academy, it is best to start the process as soon as possible. Further information about each academy’s application process can be found below:
- United States Air Force Academy
- United States Coast Guard Academy
- United States Merchant Marine Academy
- United States Military Academy
- United States Naval Academy
If you are a high school student interested in learning about the U.S. Service Academy application and nomination process, consider attending a Service Academy Day hosted by the Nebraska Delegation. These events provide an excellent opportunity to ask questions and meet representatives from the academies, the Nebraska Service Academies Parents Association, and the Nebraska Service Academy Alumni Associations. You can view the presentation from Service Academy Days here.
Please check back for upcoming Nebraska Congressional Delegation Service Academy Days.
