Nebraska Breakfast

Are you planning to visit Washington, D.C.? Come to the Nebraska Breakfast!

This beloved tradition allows constituents to spend time with the entire Nebraska Delegation and hear about what’s happening on Capitol Hill. Started by Senator Hugh Butler in 1943, this breakfast is one of Nebraska’s great traditions that bring the people and their representatives together.

Beginning at 8:00 a.m., the breakfasts are held in SD-B48, located in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. RSVP for the breakfast here. You must register ahead of time for the Nebraska Breakfast.

There are no more Nebraska Breakfasts scheduled for 2026. Please check this page in the coming months as 2027 Nebraska Breakfast dates are solidified.
