WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) released the following statement this afternoon after learning about the sudden passing of former Senator Ben Nelson’s daughter Sarah over the weekend:
“I was heartbroken to learn of the tragic passing of Sarah Nelson. The loss of a child is simply beyond comprehension. Bruce and I offer our prayers and sincerest condolences to Ben, Diane, and the entire Nelson family during this difficult time.”
