WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) will host Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Brendan Carr, in Nebraska on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Fischer and Carr will tour Stanton Telecom and co-lead a roundtable discussion with Nebraska stakeholders. Earlier in the day, Fischer and Carr will participate in a demonstration on precision agriculture at Northeast Community College in Norfolk.  

Brendan Carr was nominated to serve as a Commissioner of the FCC by President Donald J. Trump and was confirmed unanimously by the U.S. Senate on August 3, 2017. He was sworn into office on August 11, 2017.
