Today, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) issued the following statement in response to the Democrats’ in vitro fertilization (IVF) show vote:

“Raising a family in this country is a beautiful part of the American dream. Like my Republican colleagues, I strongly support IVF, which has made that dream a reality for millions of Americans, including my extended family,” said Senator Fischer.

“Democrats blocked a Republican-led effort to support IVF earlier this week, so we know their legislation isn’t about protecting IVF access for families. It’s a transparently political attempt to smear Republicans and attack religious organizations,” she continued.
