Today, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) issued the following statement on the Sentinel Program’s Nunn-McCurdy review:

“America’s security requires the modernization of our heartland’s nuclear forces. Despite serious challenges, there is simply no alternative to the Sentinel program. Congress must work with the Department of Defense to address Sentinel’s problems—not abandon a critical leg of our nuclear triad,” said Senator Fischer.
