In case you missed it: U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, penned an op-ed in Fox News calling for a renewed commitment to preserving America’s institutions. After hearing testimony from Supreme Court Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Elena Kagan detailing threats to their safety, Fischer denounces the Democratic Socialists of America’s platform to abolish the Supreme Court and Senate and condemns escalatory rhetoric undermining the legitimacy of these institutions.
