WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) today announced her committee assignments for the 115th Congress. She will serve on the following Senate committees: Armed Services Committee; Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation; Committee on Environment and Public Works; Committee on Rules and Administration; and the Special Committee on Aging.
Senator Fischer released the following statement:
“Through the work on my Senate committees, I am able to advocate for the priorities most important to Nebraska families. From ensuing our military is equipped to keep Americans safe, to investing in infrastructure and alleviating regulations hindering economic growth, there are many opportunities to pave the way for a brighter future. As a new member of the Special Committee on Aging, I will also be in a strong position to fight for the interests of Nebraska’s seniors.
“I look forward to working with the respective committee chairmen and my Senate colleagues to achieve results that will make our communities prosperous, safer, and stronger.”
