VALENTINE, NEB. – Today, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb) unveiled a digital booklet outlining her work and accomplishments on behalf of Nebraskans over the past year. Click here or on the image above to view the 2016 edition of Working for You.
In this year’s Working for You, Senator Fischer released the following message to Nebraskans:
“As I reflect on the 114th Congress, I am proud of the work accomplished over the past two years. Major progress was made for Nebraska families. From enacting a long-term highway bill and reforming our education system to fighting human trafficking and addressing our nation’s heroin epidemic, Congress acted on the will of the American people.
“Despite these many achievements, there is no shortage of frustration and anxiety across this country. This November, Americans made one thing clear: they want to see a change of course. I couldn’t agree more. It’s time to make our economy stronger, our communities safer, our nation more secure, and life easier for families.
“I am excited by this unique opportunity to pursue strong, conservative solutions to the challenges this nation faces. I look forward to working with the new administration, and the new Congress, to advance the priorities that matter most to Nebraskans in the years to come.
“Thank you for your continued feedback and interest in our democratic process.”
