Help with a Federal Agency

If you’re having trouble with a federal agency, my office is here to help. While I can’t change agency rules or overturn final decisions, my team can step in to ask questions, track down resources, and help you get timely answers.

Getting Started
To request help, you’ll need to fill out the Constituent Services Release Form (CSRF) below that is most relevant to your inquiry. The form asks for:

  • A short explanation of the issue
  • Any documents that might be helpful
  • A handwritten (not digital) signature

Once your form is complete, please email it to my casework team at Casework_Fischer@fischer.senate.gov.

Please Note:

  1. The Privacy Act of 1974 requires written permission before a congressional office may make certain inquiries to a federal agency on your behalf.
  2. My office is not permitted to provide legal advice or intervene in judicial or court matters. In addition, my office cannot provide casework assistance in state and local matters.
  3. For state matters, try contacting the Governor’s Office, your State Senator, or local officials. You can find your State Senator here: Nebraska Legislature Senator Finder.
