Thank you for your interest in purchasing a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. Due to the influx of flags and short-staffing because of COVID-19 protocols, we want to inform you that flags CAN be delayed up to 6 weeks to be returned to our office after the fly date and delivered to the recipient.
You can still purchase your flag online using bank account or credit/debit card information, or you can fill out the Flag Request Form below and mail it to my Washington, D.C. office along with a check made payable to “Keeper of the Stationery.” When using the online form, if you notice several fields are grayed out, verify that you have not unintentionally selected a pre-flown flag. Payments will be processed using Pay.gov operated by the U.S. Treasury Department for secure electronic payments to Federal Government Agencies.
Please note: the online payment form is the easiest and fastest way to order your flag. All online flag requests should be placed no less than one week before the fly date and no more than 30 days in advance. If ordering your flag via mail, the order should be placed 4 to 6 weeks before the fly date.
