WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House and Senate Conference Committee has released the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act conference report, which includes U.S. Senator Deb Fischer’s (R-Neb.) paid family leave proposal, the Strong Families Act.

“I am excited to announce my paid family leave proposal is part of the tax reform conference report. This is truly a historic measure. Creating the first-ever nationwide paid family leave policy will be a huge step forward for American women and working families,” said Senator Fischer.
