Senate Confirms Judge Brett Kavanaugh to Supreme Court With Fischer’s Support

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) released the following statement today after the U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh to be the next Associate Justice on the Supreme Court: 

“Judge Brett Kavanaugh is an excellent jurist with a deep commitment to our Constitution and the rule of law. Over the course of his 12 years on the D.C. Circuit Court, he has proven to be one of the most thoughtful, preeminent judges in our nation. He will serve the American people with distinction.”
