WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) welcomed more than 130 female Nebraska veterans to Washington, D.C. During a tour of Arlington Cemetery, Fischer had the opportunity to visit with veterans from across Nebraska, ranging in ages 27-98.

“It was a privilege to visit with this all-female honor flight at Arlington Cemetery today. These Nebraska women served in different conflicts throughout our history, but they all have shown great courage and selflessness. I join all Nebraskans in thanking them for their service to our country.”
